"Too many torrents..."
-
Hello,
Since yesterday, I got an error message "Bad ratio : Ratio 11.179. Too many torrents...Your current limit is at 15 at the same time..." in my Azureus interface.
And I have only 1 download at current time (which didn't started).
By the way, my ratio is 11.179 - I think it's more than correctWhat happens ?

Have a look at this page and see what it says in the section titled "Personal Daily Download Limit"
Under "Your Current Values" it will tell you how many torrents you can download per day. For example, mine says:
"You downloaded 7 torrent(s) in the past 24 hours
You are allowed to download 118 torrent file(s) per day. This is based on your share ratio of 0.967 and 1 uploaded own torrent(s)."This may or may not provide the answer, but it's a good place to start.

This is normal, 12 is maximum for downloading torrent ...
You'll get BAD RATIO or too many torrents running when you exceed 12,
and the rest will be queued when completed [NOTE: tracker updates every per half hour] ...
I believe this is how system works ...
I have 7.353 ratio and still getting that error ...Download will count active as soon as it starts finding peers [regardless of being stalled or non-seeder]
excludes queued and failure/unregistered torrent,
it will cleared once syncing is done ...Bad Ratio warning or too many torrents running ...
Is how the system was set on this to prevent or to avoid conflict on exceeded download limit ...
[And the rest will queued once the process is done]- You can test this out on Freeleech ...
Grab 13 torrents under 100 Mb each and run all @ once, to do this [make sure that there are no other active download]
check the 13 torrent that stuck on finding peers you will see the Bad Ratio warning execution on tracker ...

@goldorak-0 It sounds like you might be a fairly new member of the site and have not yet uploaded much even though you RATIO is good.
For instance, exaggerating to make a point...
If you downloaded 1 mb of images and uploaded 15 mb of images.. you would have a RATIO of 15:1 however, you aren't going to get download spots with that amount of data transferred. You might consider donating some money to get more spots.
You might also like to try a different torrent client.
I suggest Utorrent 3.5.5 (do NOT install any Utorrent 3.6)
Qbittorrent is also a good one to try. -
@goldorak-0 any torrent that you haven't fully downloaded (selected 100% of the files) will count as "downloading" as long as they are active in your torrent client.
If you don't know which torrents you are seeding that were not fully downloaded, you might need to pause ALL your torrents in order to free up the download slots you need.
Tip: Go through all of your torrents and pause everything that you have not downloaded fully.
You can either pause them indefinitely, or you can mark them with tags to let you know which torrents you need to stop when you run out of slots.
