Waukesha parade killer, Darrell Brooks sentenced
-
Darrell Brooks was sentenced to 6 consecutive life sentences without parole (for 6 counts of 1st-degree murder or 1st-degree intentional homocide as it is called in Wisconsin) plus 1,067 years (for the remaining 71 counts).
A life sentence without parole is traditionally deemed 125 years under US law. So that's 750 years, just for the murders.
Once he finishes his 6 consecutive life sentences without parole, he starts his 1,067 years.
He was given credit for time served.
