Edit my own upload

I didn't like the pics that someone else added (not clear, etc.) and wanted to add my own by "editing" the torrent.
When I clicked "edit this torrent" while viewing it, I could NOT remove any of the added pics and I could not add more since there were max #
of pix added by another user…but the site said I could NOT edit MY OWN UPLOAD. Exact message was "Can't remove this picture You're not the rightful owner, or you're not logged in properly."Clearly I am logged in. Clearly I have uploaded the file. Please explain.

You can only edit your upload until a certain period after uploading. I think it may be 7 days? To get photos removed please email the help desk. Provide the link to the torrent and which picts to remove.

Unfortunately you can never remove photos that others have added. The only way around letting others add photos is to make sure you add 10 photos ( which isn't always easy) when you first upload your torrent. This will stop others from being able to add any more pictures.
Personally I have never been a fan of others being able to add additional photos especially as sometimes it doesn't represent what it is that you the uploader posted. Seems in the long run more work for the Mods that we have to report to them which pictures to delete instead of say lowering the amount of pics we have to add to say possibly 5 or so and if we want to add more than that we can.

I tried to "edit" my torrent with 30 minutes of creation/upload. It is NEW.

As I mentioned in my previous post. You can NEVER edit someone elses photos that they have posted to your torrent. Photos will always have to be reported and a Mod will have to edit them even if it has only been 30 minutes since you uploaded the torrent.

I read your comment about the pics and understand. I was simply answering the question about time frame, for future reference.

Also, you can always file a request with the Helpdesk to have that looked into. Any of the mods who have access to Helpdesk should be able to assist you with what you want to do.
