I only joined this site today. I'm eager to increase my upload so tried to upload a DVD iso (4.6 gb). Once I hit the "Let's do it" button, I got an error message saying too large. I know this can't be right as I seem much bigger files on here. Any ideas?

        @Sunshine78 Hello !!! ...
[this section is for Introductory w/c is a wrong place to post related problems] ...

        However:
DO NOT create torrents with following symbols in torrent name: / \ " ' _ , ! These torrents will have problems with seeding on tracker!

If you use µTorrent, don't leave the tracker url box blank, just write http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru:2710/announce or you may get "missing dictionary key error" after upload!

          Uploading an image file:

Image files seem to be the most simple method to rip a DVD - but beware: an image file is a single file which will be easily greater than 2 GB in size. As mentioned before - such big files can easily make it impossible to download such a file because of some (older) file systems are not capable of handling files greater 2 GB in size. That is the reason we do not like image uploads at all.

There are some programs which can split a big image file into smaller parts (size 1 GB) or so named file.I00, file.I01... but that is also not a real good solution because you need a descriptor file to describe the complete ISO image (named file.MDS) and special programs which are able to burn a DVD from such a descriptor file and all accompanying split image parts.

@Sunshine78 You should not be uploading files that are in the ISO format.

VOB, AVI, MKV, M4V, MPG, MP4, WMV (in fact I don't think WMV should be uploaded either).

you will probably find that your ISO is a load of VOB files. Extract them to a directory, and upload the entire folder.

4.6gb is nothing unusual. Yesterday, someone uploaded a torrent with a file size of 348GB - that is large.. and even more absurd..they only provided ONE photo of a fully clothed guy to describe it!!!!!

              In addition:
There might be other reason why the system is not accepting your upload regardless of size ...
Name is not valid nor the file is damage and corrupted ...
              ex: [allowed and valid] file
              Screenshot_3.jpg

However you can do the ff:

              1. Try to rename the file w/o any symbol
[copy the original name first before doing this in case of error]

or rename/delete [.iso] extension file that is accepted [zip file/rar file are no longer allowed]

IMPORTANT !!! ... remember this is a critical task so make a copy/back up first in case there will be an error from renaming ...

and make a note from the original file [name] to avoid any other confusion ...

If the system rejected this process ...

              1. make a folder and insert the original .iso file/data [name] and try again ...

              2. Lastly try to extract the file [this works and common issues] and do not altered or renaming [VIDEO_TS] folder ...
                Then you can submit ...

Is there something special to consider when uploading a DVD?
              see GUIDE: https://www.gaytorrent.ru/faq.php#489

Do not upload VIDEO packed in archives (zip, rar, ...), password protected files, or material that needs to acquire a license for playing
