Qbittorent 4.2.5 & gaytorrents downloading issue
-
I'm just curious, has anyone else been having problems with private trackers & qbittorent 4.2.5?
For example, I'm allowed to download 2 files at a time & I've got ~10 things queued for downloading. The private tracker status for all the torrents will show "not working". I've tried "force reannounce" but it only sometimes will work & change them to working.

I'm having the exact same problem… :wall: For some reason this is the only site that I can't download from. Every once in a while a quick START/RESUME will get the torrent moving, but it doesn't work consistently. Once the file actually starts, it will finish, but it seem that just getting them started is the tricky part. Sometimes if I restart my client, all the 'Stalled' torrents will start downloading as if there were no problem at all in the first place. If I add more torrents from this site while those are DLing and connected to the tracker, they start right up normally, but if they finish and i go to get something else from gt.ru.... Forget it— Shit's broken again.
And I don't think it's "private" torrent sites, because I can download from other private sites just fine and this is the only one that's having this problem.
Fester79,
When you update your client, do you do it pretty much every time a new version comes out? Do you have a lot of torrents in your list tthat have been carried though to the next version of the client? We may end up having to just re-install and 'start fresh', I suspect. -
I reinstalled the client & that seems to have fix it for now. This is the only private tracker I have issues with. I've never had a problem otherwise. Looking at the qbittorent Reddit, we're not the only ones having problems with trackers. I saw recommendations to go back to something like 1.1.9.
I was gonna just go back to utorrent 2.2.1, but I really do like qbittorent so I'm just gonna stay & hope they update the client SOON.

The same thing is happening to me, any new torrents I try to download stall for no reason. I have gotten spurts of a few kb, but that's about it. It's acting as if there are no seeders when there should be plenty.
I cannot just reset qbittorrent, I have way too many active torrents in different folders.

I tried downloading with Transmission QT and it did not work. Utorrent worked just fine. Apparently this is an issue with multiple torrent clients and this tracker. I think both use the same version of libtorrent but I am not sure. Either way it's not happening with any other tracker.

Nevermind, it started showing download speeds as if it was downloading then just stopped. Sent a message to helpdesk but don't wanna spam them with another message xD

I just figured it out xD It was a server permissions issue. Sorry to any mods that got confused. ???
-
Still never figured out how to fix this.
I mean, if it's the tracker side, maybe gay torrent mods can look into it? -
Experiencing the same thing here in qBittorrent (4.3.0.1) in win10.
Thought it was the torrents themselves but seems everything I'm trying to download is hanging at 0%.-
If I go "resume", status changes to stalled.
-
Then when I go "Force resume" status says "[F] downloading" but still at 0% done and never changing.
I think this happened when I updated qBittorrent so I might downgrade but if that doesn't work I don't know what to do.

Downgrading to 4.2.3 didn't help.
Ran a test downloading a 64kb file (one photo from a torrent) and still same thing.I guess I'll try downgrading to 3.x and if that doesn't work maybe another client all together…

Changing client worked for me. uTorrent web seems to be working fine. Pitty. I really liked bittorrent.

Just wanted to post an update.
I updated to Qbittorent 4.3.0.1 and I don't have the issues anymore. I'm on Windows 7 still though, so that might make a difference. Also, always using a VPN of course. The only tracker that I ever had an issue with it to begin with was here so I'm not sure how it was fixed.
