Palm Drive Video, anyone?
-
Does anyone remember Palm Drive Video? They had some of the hottest bears I've seen. I think most all the titles only came out VHS.
There are a couple of them in the torrent section.
Is there a reason no one uploads them? Is it because they're on tape and not DVD?
If anyone has any, I'm sure guys would be interested in them. I know I would, anyway. lol
Thanks -
I remember Palm Drive Video yes!! I used to have several of the videotapes a long time ago. My favorite was a video called Party Animal Raw that starred Tom Howard aka Flex Gordon and I think his real name was Chris or something. He has since passed away. That was my all time favorite video, and I've searched for years to find another copy of it. In the video it was just Tom in a dungeon like room with some weight lifting equipment, and some assorted dildos and plugs. He pours oil all over everything and proceeds to use all the toys and then take a barbell and rides it with enormous pleasure. Oh and at the beginning he's outside in the driveway with a running water hose and proceeds to clean out his anal cavity and have some waterworks fun. Google Tom Howard Colt Studio and you can see who he is. Those videos that were done by Jack Fritscher.
This is from his Wiki page:
Fritscher was the founding editor of the first gay "zine" of the 1980s, Man2Man Quarterly (1979–1982), as well as San Francisco's California Action Guide (1982). With California Action Guide, Fritscher became the first editor to publish the word "Bear" on a magazine cover (November 1982). He also contributed to the start-up of dozens of other emerging gay magazines as well as booking anthologies for new publishers such as Gay Sunshine Press and Bowling Green University Press.
With producer Mark Hemry in 1984, Fritscher co-founded the pioneering Palm Drive Video featuring homomasculine entertainment. Palm Drive Video expanded in 1996 to Palm Drive Publishing, San Francisco. For Palm Drive Fritscher wrote, cast, and directed more than 150 video features. His work includes documentary footage of the first "Bear" contest (Pilsner Inn, February 1987). These videos are no longer available for retail sale, as Fritscher declined to shift to DVD format and shut down the video company.
