Federal agents began investigating Emerich after being told about him by an informer for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The informant, himself a child pornographer, is also a Florida-based talent scout who did regular recruiting for Emerich.
He told his FDLE handlers that he “would book teenage boys to model for Emerich, who would fly to Florida from New England and take both non-nude and nude photographs of the young boys.”
At the direction of FDLE and federal agents, the informant asked Emerich last January to mail photographs of underage boys to Florida. Emerich mailed an external hard drive and a thumb drive, "both containing numerous images of underage boys" to the informant’s home in Jupiter, according to court documents.
The package was intercepted by U.S. Postal Inspection Service agents in February. Inside the package were also business cards with the name and address of Emerich's company RWE Productions. -
I chose not to download for this very reason. Underage images are illegal, and I would urge the mods to delete tbh.

I must admit that I have never understood the appeal so many guys see in twinkish teen-boys. I'd much rather be intimate with someone that knows what they are doing & is passionate than a little kid that is doing it so he has money to buy candy with. That just repulses me, and has before made me wonder about why so many of the porn companies think all men are "into" that. I'd rather have a man my age or older with a full-beard than a boy that barely has pubic-hair.

Really, you think that is what "so many" think "all men" are into?? you must not look at gay porn much. When I look at the various sites, I see so many different types, bodies, situations, etc that the challenge is sorting through to finding what I most want to wank to.
Speaking as someone who does prefer to see younger, twinkish guys, I also think it odd you speak about "rather be intimate with" and "know what they are doing" as if that is a criteria for porn. Porn is a fantasy, not reality. When I am watching porn, I am generally alone, so not an issue of the knowledge of someone actually there touching me. You are probably right, that any 18yo I might actually have in my bed would not live up to the fantasy, but as a slightly overweight man pushing 50, that ain't likely to happen anyway.
You have your likes, I have mine. No need to be "repulsed" by my choices. I personally do not see the appeal of bearded butch muscle guys covered in tattoos. They remind me of the bullies of my youth, which is a negative memory.
As to the original question of underage, that is a different issue, because of the legality. I do find it odd that there are plenty of countries in Europe, and states in the US, where I could legally have sex with a 16 yo (even younger in a few European countries) but the image is somehow scandalous. I am not defending child porn, and have no interest in getting in trouble so I avoided the torrent/site as well, just find the distinction odd that the sex is less traumatic than the image, for age-of-consent legal guys. Probably a different thread somewhere for that.

I'm not into twinks that look like children, but I don't want muscle heads other.
Terms for model types do tend to have a lot of overlap.
Twinks, Youngbloods, and Frats are all the same age group (under 25'ish) but having different body types and appearance.

From what I heard years ago, the people behind Modelteenz were very much weird and creepy, which is why the site was shutdown.
Some of the poses they had the boys doing were really suspect to me.
