Rent your house out on Airbnb, and you don’t know what kind of guests you’ll get. A majority of the time, the situation is totally safe, but every once in a while you’ll come home to some surprises.
Like enema kits. And semen. And "various sexual devices."
On Aug. 16, 2015, Airbnb host Kristina Knapic claims she came home to find that her historical house had been used to film a gay porn. Knapic had rented out her Ojai, California, house to guests for five days. Upon returning, Knapic allegedly found some not-so-subtle evidence:
“Plaintiff entered the Acacia was filthy (enema kits were found throughout the house – on the floors, in the beds, in nightstand drawer and in the trash; various sexual devices were found in the beds and in the trash; the hot tub water was brownish in color; and the linens were stained brown,” legal documents, obtained by The Smoking Gun, read.
Knapic is now suing Lucas entertainment, who made the porn, for property damage, as well as breach of contract and “emotional damage.” The claim totals $30,000.
In a statement to The New York Daily News, Lucas conceded that they had filmed a porn at the mansion, but had left the house in good shape.
“We were told and we have it in writing that the mansion was in perfect condition,” Lucas said.
The allegations, he argued, were “absolutely, 100 percent, every word” false.
