      What did you guys think?

I still don't really know how I feel about it, Ultraviolence and Honeymoon are still her best work for me.
Seems like the new album is much more fast paced, It's beem a while since I said there is a Lana song I actually don't like at all.
Coachella is just awful, I'm not diminishing the album there are some great tunes, but I think It's just not as cohesive as her past work.

I'm not a fan of this album sadly but the actual song "Lust For Life" slays my existence.

I didn't like this album, not one song, unfortunately her worst vocally, same repetitive lyrics and chord progressions that she has done before countless times, I'll still listen to her previous work(which is great) but with this one one listen was more than enough.

Lust for Life is a huge disappointment. That there is a song on it called "Summer Bummer" basically says it all, especially when compared to the sublime "Summertime Sadness". Pretty much any of her previous work blows Lust for Life out of the water.

It's especially disappointing because "Love" was such a strong single…but it's literally the only good song on the album. The rest were either middling or "featuring" someone we didn't buy the album for, which is what I was afraid of after "Lust for Life", the song, was released. I don't like the Weeknd and I don't buy Lana Del Rey's albums to hear them...or Stevie Nicks, who is always embarrassing these days.

I can only hope that their affiliation ends with Lust for Life. I used to like Stevie too, but her brand of toxic crazy ruined her and I'd rather she not take Lana down too. Listening to even Lana's unreleased work, when she didn't really know which direction she wanted to go in, still reflects a far more dynamic and engaging creator.

Maybe it's just one of those cases where an artist loses their pathos and really shouldn't be putting out work when they know they can't do it. It's like slapping pink glitter paint on a wrought-iron fence – it just looks wrong and doesn't suit the creator's voice. Ultraviolence was Lana's best, I assert: it presented a beautiful darkness and poetry, which avoided pretension and excessive pastiche. Lust for Life was supposed to be uplifting and hopeful, but it was exactly what this world didn't need…a half-baked idea only completed by dragging otherwise unrelated people into it. That makes it even more depressing.
