      Hey guys,
My torrent is always seeding, and it actually changed colors when someone is actively uploading…
My ratio hasn't changed, which makes me wonder - do i need to be logged in to the site to receive credit?

The website will log me out after inactivity, so I can't be logged in 24/7 like I keep my torrent client running.

In my own experience, I've had my ratio keep improving and my files keep seeding for as long as my torrent client is on, even if I'm logged out. So no, you don't need to be logged in, but you do need to have your torrent on while you're on the computer.

Ask for help from the Helpdesk if you still keep having trouble.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short.
But shout it at them in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

The official answer: You only need to be logged in to submit the .torrent file to upload the torrent to the tracker, as well as to download the .torrent file you need to seed the upload. Once you have downloaded the .torrent file for your torrent program to seed/leech with, whether you are logged in or not makes absolutely no difference.

That's not how torrents work. The torrent files you download from the tracker contain your account credentials, which is how your upload and download traffic gets tracked in order to give you the credit you earn. You do not need to be "logged in" on the website for it to work - they're entirely unrelated elements.

Did you even read what I wrote? You have to be logged into the website to send the .torrent file to the website, and to get the .torrent file you need for your torrent client. Once you have that file, whether or not you are still logged into the website is irrelevant. Nothing I've said contradicted what you have stated.
