      Hello everybody ;D
      I found the site by chance and decided to venture out by torrents. I'm new in this world of torrents (and the gay world too hahaha ) and found out the hard way about what ratio and am struggling to increase my. I am Brazilian and I hope make good friends and use the community and help them as well. ( I need the Hot House - Kiss Lick Suck Fuck movie… hahaha)

      I am banned downloads to increase my ratio (which I did not know about any of this) and now I'm just buying seed points.  :-X 😕

        All is not desperate for you. You're only megabytes short of your ratio.

        A couple or three things to remember. You can still download freeleech torrents, no download will be counted but everything you upload goes to your ratio. Just make sure you will be able to finish before the freeleech ends.

        You can add to you points by posting in the forums (but don't spam) or starting topics.

        Add pictures to torrents, vote on any torrents you have downloaded. But best of all post your first torrent. Do a thorough search that it won't a duplicate but you get credit for everything you upload AND you can claim 600 points.

        And don't forget to keep your client open for seeding whatever you have downloaded.

          Hello Ralf and welcome to Gaytorrent.ru, I am sure you will love it here.  You do not need much to regain your control in the ratio war.  Do you have and videos that are not listed on this site, do make a check before uploading it.  On your first upload you will gain 600 bonus points on your first upload.  Share on the forums to gain bonus as well vote on torrents that you have downloaded.  Add pictures to torrents that are already listed to help with bonus.  These are some easy ways to gain bonuses.  Once you have uploaded a torrent, you may be even gifted bonuses from other that wanted you torrent.  At the present time I or anyone else can help you out until you upload a least one torrent.  If you have any questions or need more info or advice, please feel free to contact me and I will try to help in any way that I can.  Hope all works out for you.  Just do the work on your end, we have all been there at the beginning.

          We have a policy of "Fair Sharing" here at GT.ru. Simply, this means you give back at least a small portion of what you take. The more you take the larger the required amount to be given back to the site.

          Choose your first few files carefully! ! !

          As your first downloads, do NOT under any circumstances download a file that has only 1 or 2 seeders and no other downloaders.  Only after you have a decent ratio should you be looking at large files and files with 1 or 2 seeders and no other downloaders.  Until then, choose popular files only.  This is really the best for you in the long run.

          As a first download, make sure you pick a file that is small (under 500 MB) that has lots of other downloaders.  After you have finished downloading the file, make sure you leave your Bit Torrent client open until you have uploaded MORE than you downloaded.  Try to keep an upload ratio per file at 1.1  (110%) and build up a bit of a buffer, sort of like bits in the bank for future use.

          Make sure you are connectable.

          If you only do one thing on this list, make sure that you have properly installed your Bit Torrent client on your home network and provide it with information of an open port.  This is a multiple step process that is not really an option.  If you do not forward a port (telling your router/modem which port it should open for you), many other members of the swarm (other downloaders) will not be able to connect to you and request packets from you.  The result of this will be a less than good ratio and you will end up loosing your download privileges.  I repeat, this is really not an option, if you are serious about being a member of our website.

                  If you want to contact someone, click on their username at the side. If their profile is open, you will see a button at the bottom labelled 'Send Message'. Click on that and it opens a box to send a personal message.

                  Some people have their profile set on private so you won't see that box.
