VPN Server

Does it matter which country i should choose fo my VPN?
How do i know which one is best for me?
Can i connect eit a server from my country? -
Netherlands has one of the most liberal / privacy friendly Internet laws..
When one routes through VPN the requested data instead going straight to ur ISP it goes to the VPN server which encrypts it and sends to ur location.
Theoretically VPN servers close to u/ur country are faster, but not always - VPN servers on other continent or otherside of the globe can reach almost same speeds as VPN servers/countries close to u.
Pick a server and go to speedtest.net if interested.
VPN services on a browser:
Opera browser has built in VPN. It uses SurfEasy VPN service.
SurfEasy VPN is also available to (at least) Chrome and Vivaldi too, it's on Chrome Web Store as extension. Judging by comments written to different VPN extension providers SurfEasy seems to be the most reliable and give best speeds.
Attention: Browser VPN only secures traffic between browser and internet(!) and cannot be used to other than traffic to/from browser.

that's also why peerblock among lots of software blocking nasty Ips ,blocks all Ips of dedicated servers in the netherland (leaseweb.com is infested for instance) , way too many pirates And that's not even counting nasty so called vpn compagnies that will log all your data and extract mail login, etc and resell that .. or worse.. the only way to go is to have your own vpn, get a dedicated server in netherland, white list its ip, and then only connect to it via vpn or just some ssh tunnel proxy if you just wanna browse and dont need UDP connections.

just use one near to where you actually live for faster connection
