In trying to confirm a new (manual) upload, I get

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 260440 bytes) in /data/gt/shared/www/html/include/benc.php on line 243

      at https://www.gaytorrent.ru/doupload.php .

I've tried reducing the images and the size of the torrent file (by making chunks bigger), but the outcome is the same. The torrent filename and the title only contain [a-z] characters.

On second thought, it might be relevant that the torrent in question has about 12700 files (but it's less than 900 KiB big in itself).

A 67 MB .torrent file to share ~ 1 GB isn't really effective. Usually a .torrent file is below 100 KiB.

I'd assume you try to share pictures. So you might want to put them in a ZIP archive and share that instead of thousands of single files.

I had same problem, Even if it wasn't that big of a torrent, I could get error. Then I realized that I couldn't make torrents with more than 40 files, no matter how big or small they were. I also couldn't make many big torrents one after another without having same error. I started using old utorrent 2.2.1 and problems went away. Haven't tryed to put 100 files in one torrent yet, but I didn't get error after making all those torrents either. Worth to try. You can find version 2.2.1 here. Just look for utorrent in search engine

Making the chunks smaller is counterintuitive, since the torrent file becomes bigger. I tried making the chunks 4 times smaller, the torrent became 1700 KiB big and I got the same error.

Sure, I can make zip files, but then to save space I need to either delete the zip files or the images, which is annoying.

This is the torrent with ZIP files. The grouping is a bit arbitrary and one can't preview the content, which is why I don't like this solution much.

You can also post a file list of the files contained within the ZIP file. This is a common solution that we usually use for video collections, but I don't see why it can't also be used in this case.

Also, as for previewing, that's what the photos are for.

Another downside… I mistakenly included a hidden file, now because that's missing an entire ZIP won't finish downloading. Is there a way to replace the torrent? (I've tried and uploaded a revised torrent separately, marked the old one as duplicate.)
