If you're referring to the 1996 movie, I really didn't care for it. When Kevin Bacon's character forced those boys to suck him off, it fed into the notion that all homosexuals are pedophiles. And yes, I know that Kevin Bacon's character could've just been a straight guy whose actions weren't based on sexual desire. It's entirely possible that it was just a power trip for him. However, in an earlier scene Kevin Bacon's character forced one of the boys to strip naked in front of him. Again, this could've just been about power, but it was an overuse of homosexual themes. Instead of forcing the boy to strip, he could've just as easily went into the cell and slapped the boy around a bit. No, the writer clearly had a beef with the gay community, and he was using the plot of this movie to say something about any gay man in a position of power over a little boy. The inclusion of DeNiro as a Catholic priest in this film also seems to support the idea of homophobic subtext.
If you're referring to the dormant Nazi super-robots that were planted in key locations around the world and designed to wake up and start destroying cities, I think the storyline is ridiculous. I mean, if Hitler had giant, unstoppable robots, why the hell not use them during WWII, instead of letting them "sleep" until sometime after the war??? It would've made a lot more sense, and might've helped Germany win the war. Seriously, why would Hitler waste so much time, effort, and materials to develop a super weapon that would only be used if he LOST the war?! Wasn't he too arrogant to even conceive of that happening? Whatever. Thank goodness Captain America stopped them.
