Corrupt avi file

I have a .avi file that is part of a collection that I want to upload. The vid will play in GOM but I can't use the time slide to advance the movie. Tried converting the format with Ultra converter. No help. Anybody know a program that will allow you to fix a file?

You can try Allok Converter - however, since I got this program about 7 years ago, I haven't been able to find it again. I also use Super Easy Video Converter aswell (seems to work better, and is much newer). Mostly I have found that videos with corrupt codecs usually convert with the same issue or don't convert at all due to the codec being unreadable and therefore not convertible.

dont use a converter you'll only corrupt it even more and degrade the quality
use AVI FIX its been around for yrs and yrs and is exactly what you need it for
