really touching and classically 1990's -
Yes, it is a good movie
It was originally shown on TV here in the UK
-
thats really cool! we had a speciality video rental store here with a gay lesbian section and i uncovered it many moons ago! it was so amazing! lucky you had it shown on TV, here it would be difficult
-
Its the only gay themed movie was at the Top 10 IMDb Top 100 movies. Happened around 1998's.
-
i can understand why! its such a tender story and well acted!
-
I like it because it represents a very common homosexual story and it has a realistic and happy ending, I like to consider it a gay fairy tale hahahahaha
-
it has a realistic and happy ending
Happy ending definitely. But realistic? Two gay school boys dancing together (to music only the film audience can hear) in the middle of their inner city London estate while everyone stands around watching. That's realism to you?

I'll have to watch this movie in order to express my opinion..

In my top 3 best gay themed movies. In fact, it was the first gay oriented movie I ever watched. For some weird reason it was shown on tv. It was late night, but I was amazed at how good it was (and still is)

I especially like the part when they are fooling around in the woods after they went to a gay bar and the background music "Make your own Kind of Music" is just awesome
-
I have seen it and liked it very much. It was well done

It's a very sweet movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I don't know how anybody could like it.

Are you serious? While it may not be "Oscar nominee good" it's a classic gay film.
If this is one of the worst films you've ever seen can I ask you to recommend a good film?

One of my fave gay themed movies. It's actually based on a stage play and the part of Ste (the neighbor boy) was originated on stage by Jonny Lee Miller.
-
You are right :). It was first premiered at Bush Theater on July 28, 1993 with Mark Letheren as Jamie and Jonny Lee Miller (Angelina Jolie's ex husband) as Ste
