Any labrador/golden retriever fans here?

I have two labbies, a black and a white (both females) plus a male golden retriever and i gotta say they are the best pets to have, so calm and loving, plus they swim if you happen to have a pool! any thoughts?

Indeed wonderful and loyal breeds. Had both breeds growing up on the farm. Let me say the males can get persistent at times but that all depends on if they are fixed or not…. never had one attack a human, only snakes and wild animals. I have stories I will never forget. Females tend to get hip problems fairly common in older age.

yes sadly we had to put down a pup who had hip problems when he was only about 8 months old. very sad. they are breeds that are prone to hip or shoulder displasia (dunno if i spelled that correctly) so it is always a risk unless they have documentation from a good line. very loyal and wonderful family pets!
