Celluloid Closet is my favorite as well. I put it on when I have nothing to do and want to watch something familiar. I've seen all the docs in the top 10 and think its a good list overall.
-
Thank you for this list! So far I've just watched Paris is Burning, and I was mesmerized by it
-
Seriously, I just checked this list to see if The Celluloid Closet and Paris is Burning were on there. But there are some documentaries in this list that I DEFINITELY need to check out. Thanks, 2222!
By the way, when I went to see Paris is Burning, there were about 8 people in the theater. I had no idea it would one day it would one day attain legendary status (much less that straight people would be "throwing shade.) Smh…

Thank you. I have had Celluloid Closest for a while but haven't gotten around to watching it yet.
-
Oh, it's well worth watching
-
OMFG thank you for this list!
-
Absolutely fantastic.
-
The celluloid closet is the No 1 for me.
It was so beautifully done but interesting insights and a very good music. It was a little melodramatic here and there but that makes it even more great to watch.
No wonder it's on the top of the list here too.
