      Hello to All,

perhaps anyone can help me with this. I would be needing suggestions for a tool that downloads videos deom HairyandRaw , Bearfilms.

I was trying Real Player ( Download and Record Plugin ) and some other plug ins for Firefox. Didnt work for me.

Would appreciate if you could give me any suggestions that work , so that I can put some videos here online

      Thanks a lot

      Hugs

I sometime use streamtransport 1.1.4.0 I tested it on hairyandraw and was able to download the trailer on the main page. The tool official homepage seem to have vanished. It pretty much works for every site (even rtmp protocol) but it's no longer maintained so it might have security issue. i recommend running it in a virtual machine (virtualbox or vmware). You can take a look here also: http://alternativeto.net/software/streamtransport/

edit: I just tried http://www.atube.me/video/ and it seems to work but still not a full replacement for streamtransport since it doesn't support secure/ciphered protocols (including RTMPE).

Chrome has some video downloader extensions that you could try (video downdloader professional) and Explorer has an add on (ant) that I sometimes use.

The other option is if you use FireFox, there is an add-on called FlashGot. It is your best friend for downloading streaming content. Also, if you have access to a Linux device such as the UBCD[nb]The Ultimate Boot CD - www.ultimatebootcd.com[/nb] or the Ubuntu install DVD[nb]Available from www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop[/nb] to be able to run the Try Ubuntu option, you should also be able to use wget to rip the entire site's content.

                Try using Internet Download Manager.
