Gays Preparing To Slaughter Christians In Homosexual Holocaust According To Tony Perkins (AUDIO)
Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council, asked the attorney Nicole Martin of Alliance Defending Freedom on his show, Washington Watch With Tony Perkins. Martin had recently represented Jack Phillips, owner of the Masterpiece Cakeshop in Denver Colorado. Judges on the Colorado Human Rights Council recently unanimously ruled against Phillips in a claim that Phillips had violated a gay couple’s civil rights when he refused to bake them a wedding cake.
The discussion on the show about the council decision quickly escalated beyond the usual hateful bigoted remarks usually associated with anything to do with Tony Perkins or the Family research Council and jumped right into Holocaust territory so fast it would make Godwin gasp. Somehow in Perkins’ mind not only is there a gay agenda, there is also a gay final solution that involves Christians being exterminated in concentration camps.
“I’m beginning to think, are re-education camps next? When are they going to start rolling out the boxcars to start hauling off Christians,” asks Perkins.
Yeah that’s right. Tony Perkins actually said that gay people, one of the largest groups of people who actually were exterminated in concentration camps during the Holocaust, is part of a 21st century plot to do the same to Christians.
Martin described the ruling as part of a continued “witch hunt” against Christians.
Yeah that’s right. Nicole Martin actually said that there is a witch hunt going on against Christians. Christians being the ones who actually accused people of being witches, then burned them alive, thus creating the term “witch hunt.”
Hopefully for Perkins and Martin’s sake, of there is a heaven, passing a history test is not a requirement for entry. You can listen to an audio clip of Perkins and Martin right here posted online by Right Wing Watch.
If you follow the link at the top of this post, you can listen to the audio from the actual article.

Anyone who'd believe that crap about some kind of HomoHolocaust is a paranoid idiot. Aside from the (obvious) abhorrence of the possibility of the idea, it also would just never be logistically possible. Ruining livelihoods and putting people out of power is a much more likely scenario XD.
All joking aside–it's a terrible analogy. Christians in America (can't speak for anywhere else) haven't even begun to taste what true persecution is. Not getting your way? Go cry me a river.

hi I saw in the Daily Show from last year that a guy called Bryan Fischer from the American Family Association that Christians will soon have identity markers on. Another guy in the same show said that he feared that christians would be taken away their freedom of speak. He said that gays were not very tolerant of his intolerants.

This is a tried and true 'tactic' of the far right when attempting to impose there minority opinion: to portray themselves as 'victims' of the very thing they are trying to destroy in an attempt to say "see, I told you they were evil" .

That's just how those people are.
-
Uganda’s vehement anti-gay movement began in 2009 after a group of American preachers went to Uganda for an anti-gay conference and then worked with Ugandan legislators to draft a bill that called for putting gay people to death.
Notice the highlight from the first line of the NYT article and who's responsible: the same people now claiming they're 'victims'? Gimme a break!

Tony perkins is a complete loon and so are his batty followers.
Thankfully, here in the states we are allowed to have guns.
So they come a knockin I start a poppin. Problem solved.Except for all the damn work I would have to go thru digging those damn holes in the backyard.
Seriously tho, these freaks are all over the place and in every country.

While I disagree with all of the people mentioned in the article, I do think the cake shop owner has a right to not serve whomever he pleases. It's his business and his right to his own opinions and beliefs about who he does or doesn't want to do business with. Shrug it off and buy a cake elsewhere. Denver is a big city, I know there is more than one place to get a wedding cake.
I have no idea what "ruled against" him even means. What are they going to do send him to jail for expressing his opinion? Again, I certainly don't think he is a good person, but a private business does not have to serve someone they don't want to, I think.

I too agree with everyone having the right to express his/her opinion however, in the US, a for profit enterprise open to the general public does not have the right to discriminate against individuals based upon race, creed, color, gender or sexual orientation based on Federal law and public policy against discrimination.

The "ruling" cited is a civil matter where one party has a grievance against another and seeks recourse via the courts to arbitrate the dispute. think "The People's Court" for example. To "put someone in jail" is a criminal matter where someone has, through alleged illegal activity, affected loss, harm or damage upon another person or his/her property. The ruling merely disallowed the claim of the store owner to refuse service based upon personal views that contradict Federal Civil Rights laws and/or public policy against discrimination. The signs you see in many stores/places of business- "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" do not allow for violation of the relevant Civil Rights Laws based upon arbitrary opinion.

Thank you Ajax, that is what I was wondering about and it makes sense.
OJ Simpson came to my city for an event, and he went to a restaurant where the owner wouldn't serve him then asked him to leave and everyone clapped.
When I read this story, which I admit is a different set of circumstances, it reminded me of that incident. Now, OJ Simpson was acquitted, so I wonder on what basis the restaurant owner felt he had the right to not do business with OJ Simpson. Sometimes I wish I would have gone to law school.
