According to Christianity, Jewish, and Islam, homosexuality is forbidden.
Nonetheless, I have met a few strange gay guys who are believers and moreover fundamentalists!
People who believe in any of these faiths must also obey "God's will".
How can anybody be gay and a believer at the same time? And the disaster is to be a fundamentalist!
Some say God is forgiving!!
Well, maybe right (to them) but to logic, God is forgiving when it comes to a sin, two or even 10, not one big unforgivable sin that is part of you and your daily life. -
When it come to religion and believe and faith, its hard. I can't even answer to that statement.
I have my up and down faith about being gay and believe in God at the same time. I've through a lot, living in a country when religion is a major and important thing to life. But, I can't argue with myself, at least not anymore. Because faith is a personal matter, so I think its better about this issue stay in every single souls.
As, for me, I believe God is love, not just forgiving. Love is higher. And He loves me. If He despise me being gay, why on Earth or Hell or Heaven that He create me in first place? He could killed me anytime He want. But, he let me live and give me chance to write this comment in GayTorrent.ru, because He want me to be who I am.
I believe that we live in this world has every purpose as God want us to be. And I'm pretty sure that it's a good purpose, not some shitty stereotype and naming that this world made.

It´s simple, people are stupid. If for one moment any of those people who believe on any religion stopped for a moment and studied the history of their religion, and start thinking about it, they would change their mind.
Christianity is only that big because they killed everyone that tried to disagree with it, and after more than 1500 years of butchering and mind controlling it's comprehensive that there are still so many people who believe on it.
But now, it's just being stupid to keep believing on all this crap.

My analogy is similar tho not exactly akin to comparing other adult members of GT.ru forum to 10y/o children simply because you disagree with their particular world view. Some are able to extrapolate that the lava is hot w/o the necessity of jumping in: Those same people being able to make a decision about religion or spirituality without the need to actually die and re-incarnate to be able to discuss their views on the matter.
From my thinking, its a 10y/o boy's argument when the only acceptable proof is to the ultimate extreme. (The absolute need to actually DIE and come back!?!) To my mind, sounds exactly like something a child would say.
Perhaps there's a language barrier where certain thoughts or ideas are not easily translatable while simultaneously maintaining the original context and intent.
Btw, no one said anything was 'bs' or resorted to insults, except you!

I'm a Christian and can say that I see several stages of faith. One of them is what is called "believing", another is "transforming". A christian can believe in the absolute power of God and in all His commandments but not choose to hand over their lives totally to Him. They don't transform into another person. They tend to hand over what hurts them to Him and keep what gives pleasure.
Like a baby playing with paper and a pointy scissor, when the father, who knows the danger of that, stands his hands asking for everything he receives only a piece of paper. Common dad, scissors are so much fun!
Well, that's why I think its not so hard to be gay and a believer at the same time. That's why I think I'm still gay and a believer myself.
I could be a fundamentalist if I had convinced myself that it would somehow redress my sin. And would feel superior to others as a bonus, after all I was "defending" my God! By logic, it is impossible if He does not forgives mankind sins. As far as I know, in Christianity, there is only one big unforgivable sin. All other sins are likely to be forgiven by God, homosexuality included, no matter how many times they are committed.
Is wonderful to be a Christian, you know that you can jump in God's arms at anytime, they are always open for you. The worst part is when you wanna jump with your pocket full of all kind of "scissors". Those "scissors" you've been carrying for so long that you think is part of you. You know, when you became aware of those "scissors" and pretend they are not a problem and try to make your way to God, you look like that strange guy you met.
Anyway, I agree with you, they have to make their mind! At some point I have to make up my own.
But scissors are so much fun! :cool2:
